Role: RedHat OpenShift position – Architect/Developer SME

Contract: 12-24 months, long-term

Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

Our client seeking an experienced Sr. OpenShift Architect/Developer SME with a solutions sales mindset to drive container adoption across a large government agency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for open-source, tooling, and automation and a good balance of technical skills and original thought. Implement enterprise solutions based on Red Hat OpenShift, integrating with Red Hat OpenStack Platform and similar Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technologies as well as application development tools and software life cycle processes Work with customers to foster a metric-oriented, continuous improvement of their processes Create next-generation application platform automation solutions based around containers and container orchestration using technologies such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Ansible Automation, Docker, and Kubernetes Work with customers on the writing of business justifications if needed

• • 8+ years of experience as a solutions/enterprise architect with 6+ years of OpenShift experience
• • 4+ years of experience in cloud environments and supporting infrastructures
• • 2+ years of experience with containers, Kubernetes, and DevOps
• • Mid-Level scripting skills in Bash or Python
• • Experiencearchitecting and designing complex customer solutions
• • Experience working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives
• • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve success
• • Excellent verbal and written skills, including presentation skills to high level executives
